The coffee you drink has a long journey
that can sometimes be many years in its length. When a coffee plant is seeded
it can take as long as three years to bear fruit and not every plant does. The
seed for Coffee Commandments Fine Art was planted in a small café on a leafy back
street in Liverpool in early 2012. The café may now be gone but the idea it’s
beverages inspired lives on.
A loose theme of the ten commandments of
coffee bought about many more than ten ideas and they began life as a feature
on the online magazine Seba Rashii Culture Zine. It was soon decided to create
some images to accompany them and it was there that the art was born. Coffee
and creativity go hand in hand, it seems…
